#5: Bubbly Bubbly Mat

Today I'll be updating about my 5th item that I've done last few weeks.

Straight to the topic then.

I've reused a bubble wrap which I found in my store room.

The size of the 'bubble' was quite big and I really liked popping them.

And then, I thought of an idea of creating a bubble wrap floor mat.

The texture and the sound its able to produce 

when stepped on really makes me feel like making a bubble floor mat come true.

Well, let the pictures do the talking.

 The bubbly wrap.

I thought that writing a 'welcome' word will do as we know,

a floor mat comes with the welcome word!

 The decorative fonts were really drawn with my own feelings.
Quite instinctive, though a sketch is still a must.

And then the art card is placed under the bubble wrap.

I kinda like the slightly blur effect it gives to the wordings.

And, this is how I sew the wrap and the card together.

Voila! It pops when I step on it and it also gives out the 'grassy' kind of sounds.
